K-12 Tuition Assistance
How We Make Christian Education Affordable
While recognizing that some degree of sacrifice is appropriate for something as crucial as a child’s education, the Board of Trustees recognizes that financial assistance will be necessary to build and maintain the sort of student body that CCS aspires to have. For that reason, significant funds are devoted each year to tuition assistance.
Consistent with our commitment to partnership with families, CCS also offers several discounts to qualifying families to help reduce tuition. Examples include the Returning Family Credit, New Student Discount, Referring Family Incentive, Roll Over Credits, International Student Host Credit, Early Payment Discount, and Church and Mission Agency Staff Discount.
To allocate resources wisely and fairly, CCS has enlisted the help of Independent School Management’s FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) program. FAST provides the school with a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. Tuition assistance awards typically close a portion of the gap between what a family should reasonably contribute and the actual tuition cost. Tuition assistance awards are made to enrolled families only. Prospective families considering enrollment are encouraged to complete the FAST application as part of the admissions process.
Family Eligibility
Tuition assistance is granted toward K–12 tuition on a need basis. Assistance is not offered for Preschool tuition.
Tuition assistance is granted towards K-12 tuition on a need basis. Assistance is not offered for Pre-School tuition. The Tuition Assistance Committee (TAC) determines need by focusing on families’ financial statements as well as other factors. The Committee uses FACTS Financial Aid to help determine a family’s need.
All applications, forms, and copies of requested documents must be completed via the FACTS Financial Aid on-line application process. The TAC will not consider a family’s tuition assistance needs before the application process is completed. The system is now able to automatically access your tax documents. Please see details under How To Apply below.
FACTS Financial Aid online application due dates are as follows:
Round 1 - February 17, 2026
Round 2 – March 17, 2026
Round 3 – Ongoing

Guidelines
- Tuition assistance is granted to families who have enrolled their students in CCS and have remitted any required registration fees.
- Tuition assistance is determined by the Tuition Assistance Committee (TAC) with a maximum aid amount of 50% of tuition. Tuition assistance is available only for tuition and resource room fees.
- All applications and related materials are kept confidential.
- Tuition assistance may be reduced during the year to those families whose tuition account is not in good standing unless prior arrangements are made with the business office.
- Tuition assistance is not granted retroactively.
- Families of students who owe CCS funds resulting from overdue tuition, late fees, library fines, etc. will not be considered for tuition assistance in subsequent years until the delinquent account is paid.
- Families receiving tuition assistance are strongly encouraged to donate service time to CCS.
- CCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, ethnic or national origin in the administration of its tuition assistance program.
- CCS may request additional information at a later date to comply with various private and public programs.
- Tuition assistance is granted to faculty and staff according to the Dependent Tuition Allowance policy.
Tuition Assistance Process
Total tuition assistance granted cannot exceed the budget unless approved by the Board of Trustees.
The TAC awards tuition assistance in three rounds based on completed FAST applications.
Percentage of Assistance by Round:
- 75% → Round 1
- 15% → Round 2
- 10% → Round 3
Award Determination Dates:
- Round 1: March 3, 2025
- Round 2: April 4, 2025
- Round 3: Ongoing
Families will be notified as soon as practically possible of the amount of aid granted. If the award does not meet a family’s need, an appeal can be submitted through FAST for further review by the TAC. The TAC considers both tuition and resource room fees when determining assistance and remains prepared to address mid-year challenges such as job loss or family hardship.

Ways to Reduce Tuition
Practical Ways to Make a Christ-Centered Education Affordable
The administration of Conestoga Christian School strives to make Christian education affordable for every family who desires and values their child’s enrollment at CCS.
Our admissions and business teams are always looking for practical ways to help families invest in their child’s faith and future.
Here are several ways you can reduce your 2025–2026 tuition costs:
Progression and Longevity Credits
Roll-Over Credits
CCS rewards families for continued commitment with roll-over tuition credits as students advance through grades.
Preschool → Kindergarten Credit
$1,000 tuition credit when a child transitions from CCS Preschool to Kindergarten.
Kindergarten–5th Grade:
Earn $100 per year, up to $600 total, toward 6th grade tuition.
6th–8th Grade:
Earn $150 per year, up to $450 total, toward 9th grade tuition.
9th–11th Grade:
Earn $150 per year, up to $450 total, toward senior year tuition.
K–11 Full Attendance:
Students attending CCS full-time from Kindergarten through 11th grade can accrue $1,800 in total senior year credit (minimum of four CCS classes as a senior).
Hosting and Service Credits
Total tuition assistance granted cannot exceed the budget unless approved by the Board of Trustees. The TAC awards tuition assistance in three rounds based on completed FAST applications.
International Student Host Credit
Families hosting an international student for an entire school year receive a $750 tuition credit. In addition, host families receive a stipend paid directly by the student’s sending agency (amount varies by agency).
Volunteer Advantage Credit
Families can earn up to $500 in tuition credit (up to 20% of total tuition) by volunteering at CCS.
How It Works
- Earn $20 per volunteer hour after completing a minimum of 10 hours.
- Hours must be served by parents, grandparents, or students (with approval).
- Credits are applied to the following school year’s tuition.
Examples:
- 15 hours = $300 tuition credit
- 9 hours = $0 (minimum 10-hour threshold)
- 35 hours = $500 tuition credit (maximum allowed)
- Preschool 3-year-old families earn 20% tuition credit for 35 volunteer hours ($459.20 toward $2,296 tuition).
Real-Life Example:
A parent volunteering 30 minutes daily as a lunchroom monitor earns 2.5 hours per week. Over 36 weeks, that’s 90 hours, earning the full $500 tuition credit for the upcoming year.
Financial Stewardship Discounts
Early Payment Discount
Families who pay tuition in full by June 15, 2025, receive a 2% discount. New students also qualify if payment is made within two weeks of enrollment packet submission.
Church and Mission Agency Staff Discount
Families employed full-time at a church or mission agency receive a 10% tuition discount. Part-time employees receive a proportional discount (e.g., 50% employment = 5% discount).
